Experience with Automating and Orchestrating workflows in the Cloud?

My client, a world leading Telecommunications company, is seeking an experienced infrastructure/solutions/ technical architect to shape their portfolio of programs and projects in a brand new Data Centre Transformation Project
Key responsibilities:
- Have a deep understanding of the client's infrastructure and corporate needs in order define and shape the design of the public cloud framework and solution
- Experience in Cloud Technologies particularly AWS and Azure.
- Collaborate with other Architects and SMEs to ensure the public cloud solution appropriately addresses functional and non-functional requirements.
- Produce designs and or input into designs for the public cloud solution and be able to discuss and explain the design to engineers who will implement the solution.
- Assist in the identification or risks; particularly technical and design risks which may impact the project.
- Provide oversight and specialist assistance to the engineering team during the delivery phase of the project
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of and/or certification in at least one enterprise architecture methodology (TAM, eTOM, SID, TOGAF, SOA, Web 2.0., etc.);
- Experience in large scale enterprise architecture, ideally in a telecommunication environment
- Stakeholder & Vendor relationship management
- The ability to understand and analyse business needs and bridge the gap between business and IT;
- Project Management experience
This is a long-term contract on a brand new transformation project.
