To ensure that all network designs submitted for infrastructure projects comply with Client’s reference architecture and network design standards and to ensure that networking asset refresh submissions proposed are fit for purpose and adhere to the LAN/WAN/Security Component Roadmap Service Level Agreement (SLA) and design criteria

Position description – Accountabilities  

  • Work with Client’s network suppliers to minimize re-work and project delays resulting from non-compliant network designs
  • Work with Client stakeholders to promote understanding and adherence to relevant network standards 
  • Ensure that projects comply with Information Risk Management (IRM) requirements specified in Project Delivery Framework, including obtaining the appropriate IRM sign-offs
  • To ensure all asset refresh submissions o Are compliant with LAN/WAN/Security Component Roadmap SLA’s and design criteria o Are fit for purpose
  • To challenge supplier when designs submissions are sub-optimal
  • To track and report on projects and release management reviews o Update of Tracker with review results o Daily update of Tracker with current status o Reaching out to suppliers and customers at or before critical stage gate review dates o Report cost savings resulting from review recommendations Position description – Dimensions
  • Telecom project portfolio consists of approximately 500 infrastructure projects and consultancy engagements. Influence over total annual project costs in range $15-20m
  • Project portfolio is global in nature and spread across all businesses and Client IT Service Operations (ITSO). Project types vary from simple implementations to large complex service developments.
  • Required to influence many stakeholders within Infrastructure Projects and Client Product Development (IPPD) organization, Client businesses, and outside stakeholders.  
  • NDA Reviews are a required part of the Project Compliance Plan (PCP). Failure to comply by the supplier must be communicated with Project Management Office (PMO).
