Our Client a Global Oil and Gas organisation are looking for a senior big data engineer to join their team on a 12 month basis in LondonWork together with the Solution- and Data Architect to design the next generation analytics tools and big data platforms to support the business.
Design and implement a new big data solution which supports high amounts- and velocity of data, supports future growth, use latest big data technologies/techniques.
7+ years' experience with configuring and implementing transactional SAP R/3 ERP systems specifically SAP MM and preferably in the context of manufacturing, logistics or supply chain businesses/clients. In depth knowledge with SAP data structures behind the business processes of SAP MM and SD, preferably with experience in data structure design, data conversion (LSMW) and reconciliation.
5+ years experience big data platforms; working with large data sets, large amounts of data in motion and numerous big data technologies. 3+ years experience with SAP HANA as a native database and analytics platform. Knowledge of HANA XS, UI5 and PAL highly desirable. At least 3 - 5 years experience in leading teams/Resources.
Auto software deployment technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Git)
Experience with Cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
