Position: Android Developer

Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months rolling

Location: Dublin

Daily rate: Competitive

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in developing the Android application
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and exposure to a wide variety of Android and 3rd party libraries eg RxJava, Dagger 2, Retrofit etc
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to Back End services
  • Proficient understanding of Android Studio and code versioning tools (like GIT.)
