Description
• DevOps tech lead and solution architect for Point-of-Sales system, approximately 1250 clients in 10 countries with very high demand on availability• Several years of experience from development in Java and .NET (Advantage C/C++)
o Development tools. Visual Studio, Subversion, Maven, Jenkins
• Natural ability to quickly learn the internals of an existing application – sees reading existing code and understanding the whole picture as an interesting challenge
• Special interest in how to apply an agile way of working on Point of Sales solutions
• Broad role stretching from functional domain to technical implementation details
• Guides team of system developers to successful delivery. Pragmatic, Strongly Delivery focused. Has both technical and social skills to lift a team to a high performing level
• Experience from the retail domain and Point-of-Sales (Items, Prices, Customer orders, Promotions, Payments, Loyalty, Gift cards) is an additional qualification
• Configuration, packaging and installation of software packages
• Acceptance testing of new versions, configurations and countries
• Full-time assignment, initially 6 months with option for continuation
