IT Data Consultant - Top Daily Rates - Dublin City Centre
12 Month Contract
The ideal candidate should have strong IT/technical background (data analysis) rather than GDPR or Business focused roles. Candidates should have recent experience in development and rollout of Data governance framework
Business Experience/Technical Skills:
- Experience with understanding, interpreting, analysing data (must-have)
- Expert knowledge of business analysis tools, techniques and best practices
- Business acumen: translating knowledge and understanding of the business into anticipation of needs, quick decisions, and good judgment on data use and integration
- Leading the elicitation of business requirements, analysing user needs
- Business process analysis and process improvements
- Experience leading and influencing teams without direct reporting lines
- Role models communication and interpersonal skills; develops strong stakeholder relationships; acts as liaison between business and IT personnel
- Detailed knowledge and/or experience with technology concepts and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies (ie: Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, etc.)
- Experience with data quality, reporting and lineage tools: SQL, Alteryx, IMM, Collibra and Tableau
- Experience in Datamodelling, Quality, Curation, Governance, Metadata, Lineage, SPI/APIs and Data Analysis Process
- Detail oriented, problem-solver, inquisitive; takes ownership of new challenges and does not let go until resolution
- Strategic thinker with ability to review data, industry trends, and information to implement and drive change
