A genuinely exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established engineering company who are about to launch a new product development project.
They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join them on a contract basis, initially for six months, however there is a high chance of extension. You will be working in a project team on the design and development, from concept stage, on a new and high-tech special purpose machine. We are seeking a contractor who is adept at the full stage of the design process, from concept to through to testing, who is willing and able to work onsite in Dorset for the full duration of the role.
Skills required are:-
- Excellent 3D CAD Skills
- Competent in all major aspects of mechanical engineering
Experience in (all of some of below):-
- Special Purpose Machinery
- Moving parts/precision mechanisms
- Pneumatics/Hydraulics
- Motors, bearings and motion components etc
- New product Development
- Design of any complex equipment/systems with moving parts
