Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major client in the UK. We are currently recruiting Accounts Payable - SAP experience required based in London for 3 months with possibility of extension.
Essential Experience
Focus on the SAP experience in AP and GL as this is an important part of the role
- AP Specialist with extensive experience of SAP
- Experience on Barclays.NET platform for uploading payments and understanding of the controls around segregation of duties.
- General Accounting experience
o Posting AP and Bank related journals on a timely basis
o Performing monthly Inter-company reconciliations
o Performing AP reconciliations and supplier reconciliations
o Performing bank reconciliations
- Experience of working with customers in case of disputes on invoices
- Understanding of UK VAT rules compliance
- Methodical approach in handling multiple responsibilities
- Experience of working with Off-shore teams
