Description

We are currently looking for an Onshore Array Cable Manager for one of our leading renewable energy clients.

If you are looking for a new role to start from the beginning of September this could be for you.

Onshore Array Cable Manager working on an exciting new wind farm project, to be based at the client's fantastic offices in Central London. Do you like to travel with work? If so this role would definitely suit you, as there will be 3 days travel per month to Denmark and Italy. This role is for an initial period of 4 months up until the 31st January 2019 with the possibility for extending further thereafter. This is a 5-working day week, to work 8hrs on average, however this may change. You will be responsible for the supply and termination of offshore array cables and connection equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Take part in project team meetings and cross discipline cooperation
  • Ensure that the project is on time, on budget
  • Must conform with the client's guidelines, current standards (ISO9001, QUBE and Sherlock) must have good engineering practice and local reequipments
  • Ensure that the best technical practices are implemented
  • Make sure hand-over of agreed documentation to S&C an O&M
  • Comply with and enforce the clients HSE requirements by promoting the client the client's excellent safety culture.
  • To ensure QA through all tasks in the project
  • Give input to design critical to Quality (CTQ)
  • After contract signing ensure updating of critical to Quality Activity Schedule (QAS)
  • Ensure compliance to technical employers' requirements in product fabrication.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years practical experience as well as theoretical experience within MV/HV cables, components or installation
  • BSc Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Must be a good project engineer (technically skilled, integrity, communication, adaptability, teamwork, decision making and planning.

Special Provisions:

The consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an iPhone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone 8.1.
