Job description:
Tech (IT) is looking for an Advanced Analytics consultant to support our data analytics experts manage processes and resources in charge of data collection, processing, modelling and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven aptitude for elaborating solutions based on large data sets and will also have a business mindset to generate valuable business insights. The Advanced Analytics consultant will work in close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders among Vaccines business representatives in domains such as R&D, Industrial Operations and Quality Assurance to support and implement high quality data driven decisions. He/she will have a good understanding of customer problems and the capability to pinpoint the right digital solutions, tools, optimal processes/procedures leading to increased business performance. He/she must have strong experience using most recent data analysis methods, data tools building and implementing models, using and creating algorithms and/or running simulations. The right candidate will have the passion for developing and implementing comprehensive tools and strategies to allow raw data to be transformed into business outcomes.
What you'll do:
. Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions by leading cross-functional projects using advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities. Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders.
. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
. Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
. Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
. Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modelling, visualization and communication deliverables.
. Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
. Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
. Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
. Define security and backup procedures
. Support the use of moden reporting and data visualization tools in the organization .
Required Skills:
. At least 5-10 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data, including 5+ years of experience leading a team.
. Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: Hypothesis development, designing tests/experiment conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business unit
. Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role sou), data visualization tools (eg Spotfire, Power BI), distributed data computing and big data tools (eg Hadoop. Hive, Spark) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
. Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised (regression, dassification, clustering, text analysis) learning techniques and experience with their practical implementation to solve real-world issues (allowing to efficiently assess the pros and cons of a given algorithm for addressing a specific business question)
. Experience working with and creating data architectures
. A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
