Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor level degree in engineering (IT or Telecom)
- In-depth and end-to-end understanding of mobile (wireless) networks
- Experience of mobile network management, network operations, or engineering
- In-depth experience in mobile network system integration, troubleshooting, deployment; system performance benchmarking and optimization
- Good knowledge & skills in IP/Networking, ability to create and assign VLANS, familiarity with protocols/features - OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, ATM, MCAS, QoS, OAM, IPv6 - Neutron (network), SDN and VLAN and overlay (VXLAN, MPLSGRE etc.)
- Skilled Unix/Linux administrator, experience of OS/Hypervisor - RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu
- Senior level Open Stack experience, in-depth understanding of architecture and IaaS, operations and be able to troubleshoot within OpenStack to achieve root cause analysis (OpenStack, CloudStack, Cloudband (CBIS/CBAM)
- Experience in administration, engineering and virtualization in the cloud environment including: virtual machine deployment and management, cloud orchestration, SDN controllers, virtual switches, cloud management platform (VIM controller), service instantiation and assurance and cloud analytics (optional).
- Experience of VoWifi, VoLTE, LTE, NFV, WMM
- Programming/Scripting skills - Java/Python/Shell Scripting will be added advantage
- Experience with configuration languages like Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Salt/Bash to create automations and manage systems
- Familiarity with NFV architecture, Atos GUI knowledge, FCOE, FC and iSCSI
- Experience of Cinder, Ceilometer/Gnocchi/Aodh, Glance, Heat, Horizon, Keystone, Neutron, Nova, Libvirt/KVM, Pacemaker, Rabitt MQ
- Understands service deployment using the Virtualization, Orchestration, Image, and Bare Metal Provisioning services etc.
- Experienced in server hardware and software integration & testing, installation of virtualization services, Cloud, server OS, applications, configuring storage, networking and security functionalities.
- Storage knowledge like HP, EMC and IBM LUN creation and allocation.
- Knowledge with ticketing tools like ITSM, Incident management, configuration management, problem management, change management.
Professional Certifications preferred:
- Cloud Open Stack
- VMware
- RHEL & SUSE Administrator
- HP, EMC, IBM etc. certification
Location: multiple deployment projects in the MEA region
Term: at least 6-9 months contract with high possibility for extension starting Q4 2018
