HANA Database Administrator (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Provision and support of various database environments
- Provide assistance to customers in resolving issues and performance bottlenecks
- Provide reporting on various metrics: availability, usage and performance
- Support performance testing and application benchmarking activities
- Continuous improvement of existing processes and standards
- Participate in documenting and improving the processes
- Provide recommendations and guidance for improvements of the design
Main qualifications
- Profound professional experience as HANA database administrator
- Good knowledge of the HANA platform
- Good knowledge of scripting languages/automation
- Experience in implementation of best practices and performance tuning
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies will be considered an asset: Oracle, MSSQL, mySQL and Mongo DB
- Experience in performance tuning
- Experience in working in a high availability environment (24X7)
- Comfortable with customer facing situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently with a minimum of supervision
- Experience with eCommerce
