Description
Next Ventures are looking for an Oracle SCM Functional consultant for a new opportunity in Italy.
The principal tasks include:
- Participate in the planning, execution and roll out of R12 Oracle applications (implementation of Oracle EBS/Supply Chain applications
- Work closely with Supply Chain Business teams to understand business challenges and identify pragmatic solutions that meet user expectations in
- Support the release process to deliver continuous enhancements/improvements to Supply Chain applications and processes
- Acting as an interface between Business Stakeholders and Development teams
- Review and approve alternative systems approaches and reengineered processes for workability and economic feasibility
- Work closely with the European users of Supply Chain applications
Player Profile
- Strong understanding and implementation experience of following Oracle R12 modules: Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing, Work in Process, Bills of Materials, Advanced Pricing, Shipping Execution, Cost Management and EDI
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain business processes and demonstrable experience of making recommendations for process improvements
- Good knowledge of Oracle Inventory
- Knowledge/experience of integrating Oracle with third party systems/applications preferred
- Experience of working on Global Projects or within a Global Organisation
- Clear communicator - Is able to present ideas/requirements, drive decisions and document solutions
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Interaction skills - ability to work as part of a larger team
- Experience of working with offshore teams
- Knowledge of underlying table structure used by the above Supply Chain modules is a plus
- Understanding of Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Development Tools (eg Workflow, SQL Developer, TOAD) is a plus
- Relevant Oracle implementation experience
