Fitzroy Solutions are searching for a Business Intelligence to work on a 1 year contract, based in Brussels. The client is a large financial services company, and you will be responsible for coordinating the BI team. As a BI team Lead you will be responsible for designing and delivering reliable and sustainable BI solutions, building and maintaining a data warehouse, and overseeing reporting applications. This is a strategic role so great people management and coordination skills are essential.
As a BI Team Lead your responsibility will be to:
- Define the BI priorities and participate in the BI strategy set-up
- Coordinate the BI team project activities, and oversee successful project delivery
- Communicate with users to clarify requirements and monitor progress
- Manage projects and stick to strict timelines and budgets.
- Report project progress to senior managers, and clients.
Key skills and experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working on BI projects, and 2 years' experience in a management position.
- Past experience overseeing and delivering successful BI solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior managers, stakeholders, and clients.
- Knowledge and understanding of IBM DataStage, and IBM Cognos, and Sybase.
- Proven experience in people management is essential.
