My name is Akshay Sharma and I am looking for Compensation Manager with our direct client, please find the below job description and apply now if you are interested.

Responsibilities/Accountability:

  • Work with local HR teams to monitor SIP eligible population. Ensure new participants are issued with target sheets, and leavers have commission payments adjusted/ended appropriately.
  • Responsible for calculation of commission for all SIP eligible employees, reflecting agreed regional and role-specific variations to the standard SIP structure and owning future changes and re-design activity.
  • Own the end to end process of issuing accurate and appropriate information, reviewing and obtaining approval for commission calculations. Collaborate with Regional MDs, HR and Finance and ensure that deadlines for payroll cut-offs are met and payments are made accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with Finance to provide them with the necessary information to forecast and accrue for future commission payments. Understand client payment terms and align SIP payments more closely with cash received.
  • Create and issue individual commission statements to participants.
  • Manage and respond to queries and corrections from participants and regional MDs, ensuring that the appropriate updates are made to the calculation and/or Salesforce as appropriate. Create an issue resolution tool using case management within Salesforce. Owning issues through to resolution, within an agreed SLA.
  • Manage data queries, system changes etc. that would impact the SIP, collaborating with Sales Support and Analytics.
  • Define an escalation process for unresolved queries and issues, identifying these according to priority and participating in a regular sales compensation review board.
  • Ensure that pay-out for closed opportunities is accurately tracked, and that the effects of corrections are taken into account when calculating outstanding commission.
  • Continually refining and adapting the whole Sales Incentive process in order to promote enhanced sales performance. Scope, cost and recommend additional features such as SPIFS, accelerators and CAPS
  • Drive improvements in the calculation and monitoring process, working with other teams and team members to identify and implement efficiencies.
  • Monitor and work to improve the quality of data coming both from Salesforce and Finance, ensuring that factors like margin are validated and calculated accurately, and that credit notes and write-offs are tracked and escalated if appropriate.
  • Actively involved in budget planning and the full year 2019 planning process. Responsible for monitoring the cost of commission versus business performance and revenue streams.
  • Monitor individual sales performance, identifying and highlighting high and low performers and advising MDs on action that may be required. Compile into performance rankings.
  • Carry out account mapping in order to provide year on year reporting on success trends.
  • Present high-quality performance analysis at quarterly business reviews.

Skills/Experience

  • Must have excellent Excel skills - macro programming would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels up to Regional Managing Directors
  • Extensive Salesforce experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management and prioritisation, including ability to work accurately under pressure in order to meet deadlines
  • Will require either a Finance background or extensive understanding of Finance terminology and ability to work with Finance data and processes.
