Synergis is seeking an Infor-Lawson Solutions Architect for our client.

This is a 6-12 month contract in Atlanta, GA.

Infor-Lawson Solutions Architect - Highlights:

  • Responsible for assisting with the definition, design, construction, integration, testing and support of reliable and reusable business application solutions that address Infor Lawson related application needs.
  • Responsibilities include systems analysis, enterprise-level software architecture/design, creation of software solutions, integrations/services, coding, testing, and implementation of application and data interfaces.
  • Knowledgeable of the latest technologies, development standards and best practices.
  • Play a key role in the functional direction and technical development of the Infor-Lawson team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Utilizes and develops organizational best practices throughout the project life cycle to deliver systems/applications that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Provide expert knowledge of Infor-Lawson software development, its methodologies, and documentation including requirements analysis, architecture design, project plans, status reporting, process flow diagrams, functional requirements, SOW's, GAP analysis, test plans, training materials, and others as needed.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, critical thinking and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated consultation, negotiation, directional, supportive and conflict management skills.
  • Ability and interest in coaching and mentoring team members.

Infor-Lawson Solutions Architect - Responsibilities:

  • Oversees internal and vendor driven development/system configurations/upgrades ensuring that application designs are consistent with best practices including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility.
  • Lead the technical team through system upgrade, enhancements, bug fixes, internal and regression testing, and initial post Go-Live support of the Lawson application suites.
  • Serves as an educator and expert resource working with Infor-Lawson business team to identify and document new requirements and enhancements for Lawson, Kronos, and related applications.
  • Participates in the upgrade project process and lead/assist with developing appropriate systems, applications, and/or architecture and deployment plans.

Infor-Lawson Solutions Architect - Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree - Information Technology or business related discipline (ie Accounting, Finance, Business Administration)
  • Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of experience with Lawson system development, implementation, upgrades, migrations, integrations and support
  • Expert Lawson Application knowledge at both the functional and technical layers
  • Knowledge of Infor-Lawson v.10 (Financials Suite, GHR, Supply Management Suite)
  • Functional knowledge of modules including, but not limited to, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Procurement, Procurement Card, Payroll, HCM, and more
  • Demonstrated experience with IT standards and best practices for application development
  • Proven ability to learn new skills and technology
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and website navigation

Infor-Lawson Solutions Architect - Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of integration tools and interface development
  • Strong knowledge of Scripting
  • Experience with SQL, stored procedures and database triggers
