Technical Quality/Test Specialist
Profs4U is looking for a Technical Quality/Test Specialist to join our current team for a long-term project with an international organization based in The Hague, The Netherlands.
Duration: Minimal 1 year with options to extend.
Brief description
The Technical Quality/Test Specialist is required to monitor and report on effective quality control of the technical deliverables in view of test coverage, clarity of specifications, the robustness of the design, ability for automated testing, ...etc. The aim is to improve the quality by supporting the project team and advising the project manager and project board how to improve the quality and implement improvements.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and requirements to verify the effective quality control processes in the architecture and technical designs of
- Review specifications for XML conversion, validation, integration and processing
- Ensure adherence standardisation guidelines as well as legal obligations
- Oversee product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
- Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
- Identify opportunities for improvement and support the project manager with new efficient procedures
- Report on quality status of products and make recommendation for improvements to the project manager and project board
- Support the project team with accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance in IT projects
- Strong affinity with test planning, design, analysis, and automated testing
- Strong affinity with technical design and XML data processing
- Strong affinity with Java/JBoss
- Conscientious and responsible
- Fluent in English
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office.
