Developer Location: Eindhoven Area Start: ASAP
For one of the biggest international ISP, TV and broadband companies, we're looking for a Front End developer to join the technology entertainment team. You develop HTML-JavaScript based UI's on different devices such as next generation set top boxes, TV's and other devices. The work includes specification, design, implementation, testing and debugging. Closely working with the production, product, design and operations teams in order to develop and deploy applications. We are looking for someone who wants to stay at this company for a long time!
Experience with:
- JavaScript ECMAScript )
- js (7), NPM
- Rest
- HTML5/CSS3
- Automated testing techniques and tools - Javascript unit testing, QUnit, headless testing (PhantomJS), etc.
You:
- Have practical knowledge of some frameworks and libraries like Backbone.js, Lodash/Underscore.js, ReactJS, LESS, SASS, Angular.js, etc.
- Are comfortable with version control software (Git, Gerrit)
- Are familiar with issue/development tracking products like Atlassian Jira.
- Are familiar with online documentation products like Confluence Wiki
- Are well-versed in fundamental visual and UX design skills including responsive design.
- Have excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
- Have a MSc degree in a relevant area
