Magento Developer - Daily Rate Contract - Dublin - Urgent Role
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Modular functionality and integrations development on Magento 2 platform
- Working with a fresh modular codebase created according to modern best practices, design patterns, standards and latest technology stack
- Scalable AWS infrastructure maintenance
- Perform peer code review
- Follow agile development process
- Reasonable unit and integration test coverage
- Collaborate with colleagues from Design, Marketing, Development, Support and DevOps, clients and 3rd party service providers to develop new ways to enhance website functionality and conversion
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Excellent programming skills in core PHP
- Knowledge of OOP, Software Design Patterns, PHP coding standards (PSR)
- Experience in Magento 1 or 2 development
- Experience working with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure provider
- Experience programming in Javascript. jQuery and Knockout.js knowledge is a plus
- Experience with CSS. SASS knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Varnish, Redis, Elasticsearch is a plus
