Software Engineer - Unity
A leading Social Media company based in London are seeking a Software Engineer - Unity to join their team on a 6 month contract.
The qualified candidate must have experience prototyping and coding end user experiences. To this end, you will be required to support user experience researchers. You must be able to be creative and inventive while working with emerging technologies such as VR.
Responsibilities
* Prototype and implement features for incremental changes as well as future iterations of a product according to a given specification
* Partner with engineers, researchers and designers, working closely to iterate on the product user experience
* Help establish processes to scale and maintain product over time
* Solve issues with your cross functional leads
Skills:
* 5+ years experience with real-time interactive 3D graphics development in Unity
* Experience with Oculus SDKs (preferred)
* Experience with character animation
* Experience with 3D modeling
* Experience with 3D UI design and implementation
* Experience with shaders
* Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
* Knowledge of VR and emerging technologies
* Proven problem solving skills, ability to think abstractly and overcome complex challenges
