Urgent Requirement for a Liferay Specialist
Responsibilities:
Liferay upgrade expertise (6.2 to 7.1). Actively participating in the development of impacted components/
processes. Responsible for working/participating in design, coding, unit testing, implementation, and documentation.
Required Skills:
* 4+ years of hands-on Liferay (v6.2 onwards) development experience in a technical engineering role
* End to End Liferay DXP migration experience
* Working experience with Liferay Forms (DXP 7.1).
* Developing JSR 286 portlets, Liferay plugin development(portlet, hook, theme,ext), git and Jenkins.
* Liferay Workflow configuration, Service Builder Configuration, OSGi framework, Alloy UI
* Working experience with working experience with git and Jenkins.
* Experience developing layouts and themes in Liferay Portal
* Experience with administration, configuration management, debugging, and performance tuning of Liferay Portal applications
* Java/J2EE, Spring/Hibernate, Webservices, Advanced skills in HTML5/CSS3/JS/JQUERY/Bootstrap, Angular JS, Experience with databases including MySQL
Preferred Skills:
* Experience developing new web pages and modifying existing web pages
* Experience adding new web content and modifying existing web content
* Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
* Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment pipeline using Agile methodologies
* Technical and Functional Understanding
* Working experience with git and Jenkins.
