I am currently searching for a Javascript developer to work in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for longer duration. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national E-commerce company.
You are an expert in software engineering and have good knowledge of what it means to work with large and/or distributed systems. Furthermore, you need to live and breathe Agile development, can focus on delivering.
You will be a key team member in development and design of new projects. Also, help to continuously improve development work in all areas (coding, processes, tools, testing, etc.) in a collaborative, informal, international and playful work environment!
The most important experience required for this position: - Develop high-quality, high-performant, maintainable and testable Front End code using HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), JavaScript (ES5/ES6), React, WebComponents, Backbone & jQuery
- Develop high-performant, stable Server Side code with Node.js, Express & ES2017* - Own major projects and features from design phase to coding and testing - Find and help fix stability, scalability, performance issues, cross-browser compatibility, Web standards, and interoperability.
- Have a solid grasp and experience with MVC and OO design. - Using source control systems such as Git or Subversion - Good verbal and written communication skills.
