We are looking for a APIGEE Architect for a long term contract with one of our biggest client (Among the top 3 biggest IT consultancy).

Here is the Job Spec:

• Job Location: London, UK
• Job Type: Contract
• Salary: Negotiable
• Mandatory Skills: Must have made end to end architecture for On premise APIGEE Setup

Key Responsibilities:

•Work Closely with Infrastructure team for setting up Enterprise wide On premise APIGEE setup
•Collaborate with business system owners to define the standard architectures for API delivery covering both internal and external B2B/B2C use cases
•Produce a repeatable and upgrade-able deployment of Apigee that supports those standard architectures and complies with security and software delivery best practice
•Integrate Apigee with firm-standard systems for CI/CD, authentication/authorization, entitlements management and change control
•Consult with development and support teams to provide an 'on-boarding' function for the API gateway platform

Key Skills/Knowledge:

•Strong/Hands on experience with API and APIGEE On premises setup
•Good understanding/experience with APIGEE Suite, Router, Message Processor, Casandra, Zookeeper, QPID, Postgress.
•Proficient working with Infrastructure skills like Linux OS, TCP/IP, HTTP
•Hands on experience in Unix Scripting, Perl/Python Scripting
•Worked with Kerberos Authentication
•Oauth 2.0 experience
•APIGEE Developer Portal - Pantheon and/or Drupal
•Experience designing and deploying Apigee, or a similar API Gateway product, at scale (multiple geolocations, multiple data centres, etc...) for mission-critical API delivery
•A software development background with object-oriented experience, particularly including experience creating and delivering APIs
•Familiarity with API design standards and best practices, at a level allowing credible advice and direction to be given other software development professionals
•Comfort level with underlying infrastructure concepts and protocols including the Linux O/S, TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS/SSL and others
