A multinational luxury fashion label in Central London is seeking a talent Group Financial Controller to join their high growth team on a 6-month interim basis.
This quality focused brand has ambitious growth plans and is looking for an individual who can add value and contribute to the corporate strategy.

To successfully complete the assignment, you will need to have:
- Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience of working in a retail or fashion label.
- Worked in a small - midsized retail brand.
- International business exposure.
- Exceptional systems knowledge.
- Desirable - Undertook Asset based loan duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cash-flow reporting and forecasting.
- Management of Asset Based Lending facility.
- Organising the team for month end close, agreeing deadlines and producing the balance sheet.
- Reporting to the directors on cash flow and financial accounting issues and attending meetings when required.
- Producing consolidated financial statements and the annual report, planning and managing the group financial audit.
- Preparing VAT returns for UK and Ireland, liaising with external tax advisers to ensure compliance in the UK and overseas territories.
- Support, training and mentoring of five team members covering Revenue and Banking, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Stock accounting.
- Participating in projects across the company to ensure Finance input and influence in business decisions.
