I am currently hiring a Scrum Master, NOT a PM who works as a Scrum Master, but an actual Scrum Master to work onsite for a project being run by a multi-national client. It will be on a initial 6 month contract with options to extend based on performance.
The Scrum Master will need to do the following:
- Facilitate the DevOps team in their regular meetings (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews and sprint planning sessions)
- Shielding the team from interruptions during the sprint and remove obstacles whenever these occur
- Motivate the team to keep continuously improving
- Support the product owner in more technical user stories
- Improving the velocity of the team by continuously striving for improvements
- Encouraging collaboration between the Scrum team members, product owner and users
- Alignment with other Scrum Masters and teams working in the same IT landscape
