Risk Coordinator
A fantastic opportunity with one of my Major Clients, a global leader within the financial sector, is looking for a Risk Coordinator for a 12 months contract to start in January 2019. Please read the spec below and let me know if this would be of interest to you to discuss this further.
The Project:
- Determine and improve the working method within your expertise. You distribute specific knowledge/focus areas and set the standards
- Sharing knowledge with colleagues and encouraging and coaching them so that they can get the best out of themselves.
- Continuously develop your own expertise and contribute to the further development and innovation of the field.
- Collaborating with other risk entities (also abroad)
- As a risk coordinator you strengthen a specific but informal department. Together with around 5 open, critical and motivated colleagues you work in sprints and there are daily stand-ups in which the progress of the work is discussed and monitored. Together you mobilize teams and help you solve risk related problems.
The goal here?
Enable teams to (independently) realize their goals (independently).
The Required Skills/Experience:
- A completed HBO/WO education Information Technology;
- Experience with Risk management in a banking environment;
- Relevant experience with Agile work processes and tooling;
- Strong analytical skills and technical insight;
- Knowledge and experience with setting up First Line Monitoring;
- Knowledge and experience in coaching a team on audit skills;
- Experience in translating audit results into useful visuals;
- Experience in guiding engineers in mitigating risk;
- Experience in challenging 2nd line risk (ORM and CIRM) on existing risk controls;
- Experience in describing Risk journeys that are useful for engineers.
