Job Purpose and primary objectives:
This role is for an AEM6/CQ5 Java Developer to work on the creation of a User Experience platform using Adobe AEM6.
Technical knowledge & experience
• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• 2+ years of AEM6/CQ5 experience
• SOA
• RESTful Services
• JSP, JSTL
• Front-end experience (HTML5, CSS, Javascript)
• OSGi
• Servlets
• Maven
• Continuous Integration (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
• Google Guice
• Dependency Injection
• Apache
• Git or SVN
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testing.
• Experience working with Content Management Systems
• Working in Agile SCRUM teams.
• Experience working in the financial service industry. (Banking or Investments)
• Experience working on Online banking platforms.
• Design of web solutions including coding for security and cross browser support.
• Familiarity with non-relational databases
• Strong design skills.
• Able to work both a high level of abstraction and low level detail when required.
• Understand the monitory and time constraints of any work.
• A proven track record in implementing and supporting at least one core system within a banking / finance environment.
• Excellent communication skills (written, presentation and oral)
• Work collaboratively within team.
• Able to communicate to various audiences.
• Good listening skills and not jumping to solutions.
• Full understanding of SCRUM.
• Full understanding of software development lifecycle.
