Currently Templeton & Partners is looking for an Experienced Application Developer to join one of our international clients for a position in Brussels, Belgium of 3 months with option of extension.
The Task:
Templeton & Partners is looking for a strong communicative Experienced Application Developer you will be part of a team working on the development of application software products for the POS (Point Of Sale) payment terminals.
Some of your key activities will include:
- You are responsible for defining, (functional) analysing, Developing, validating and documenting the application software
- Developments include the development of the functionality
- Automatic unit testing
- Automatic functional testing within the test framework which is developed in house.
- Is being able to work in a scrum/agile environment.
Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:
- Experience in application development & testing (preferable Embedded)
- Programming language C, Java and Android
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and networks
- Knowledge in the Agile methodology is an asset
- Drive for knowledge and technical skills
- Innovative attitude and technology minded
- Strong aptitude for analysis, a results-oriented worker, problem solver
- Being able to use the tools so that you can: compile, debug, source management, code reviews and daily builds.
- Fluent in English.
Proffered skills that our client in looking for:
- Has experience with Embedded Systems
- Being able to use Jenkins
- Having experience with Nexus
- Being able to use Docker
- Is familiar with JavaScript
- Has experience with Web hooks
- Speaks either French or Dutch
