RF Planning & Optimization Engineer (NPO, Nokia 2.5G/3G/4G, Netact OSS. KPI, Features, AFP, )
Our Client in Turkey need a skilled NPO/RF planning & optimization expert with at least 5 years.
SRAN knowledge is a plus.
Position Description
Will be responsible to understand the customer's network performance and lead optimization activities to tune the RF network for better performance/quality and capacity utilization.
KPI monitoring at project/regional level and periodical study to improve customer's network performance.
Will be responsible to analyze the KPI/counters and performance statistics to identify issues, solve complex problems.
Studies and propose pro-active measures to prevent performance degradations and customer complaints.
Responsible to troubleshoot the escalated problem those could not be understood by the FLM and PM teams.
Covers tasks such as performance audits, quality and capacity optimization, parameter planning, pci/SC, AFP Planning, network feature testing and introduction in the network, network statistics analysis, troubleshooting and performance/capacity management.
Independently develops RF optimization plans/solutions, features and field tests (eg drive tests, indoor measurements, cluster optimization, LAC and Controller Border tuning, etc ).
Leads and instructs other team members on RF network optimization activities in this field for responsibility.
Prioritizes RF optimization activities within team to address most critical ones based on customer, end user and Nokia business impact.
Ability to coordinate workload and activities between central team and remote resources. Assure both teams meet requirements and work milestones.
Position Requirements
B.Sc or M.Sc degree, preferably from Telecommunication or Electronic engineering.
Strong working experience on 2.5G/3G/4G systems (Radio network planning & optimization) for at least 5 years. SRAN knowledge is a plus.
Good working experience on Nokia 2.5G/3G/4G parameters, counters and KPIs, features for at least 5 years.
Ability to do own Configuration Changes on Netact OSS via, good understanding of SBTS commissioning troubleshooting to analyze high level problems
Experience in observing and communicating cases to care engineers after major and minor release upgrades.
In depth trouble-shooting capability from analysis of network statistics and drive test logs.
Good overall understanding of Nokia Networks solutions in mobile
