Buyer - Harwell - £20 - £25 Per Hour - 6 months
Capita Resourcing is the strategic resourcing business within Capita plc. We are the chosen provider of agency workers and permanent recruitment for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) collaborative framework, across nuclear sites and offices UK wide.
Overview of role:
Support the Procurement Team in delivering a timely and effective procurement service to internal stakeholders. Provide contract management advice and support to the business to ensure compliance and the delivery of value for money outcomes.
The role will focus of the delivery of the key work areas;
The preparation, issue and management of mini-tenders
Manage and support the tender evaluation process
Prepare and place purchase orders as and when required
Engagement with internal stakeholders and the supply chain
Deliver procurement compliance and governance whilst securing value for money outcomes
Skills and experience:
Part CIPS qualified or working towards MCIPS
An understanding of NEC3 contracts
Working level experience of OJEU requirements
Good knowledge and understanding of procurement law and practices, particularly EC procurement legislation
Detailed understanding of developing and setting standards of procurement best practice
Excellent interpersonal skills are required as the individual will be expected to communicate at all levels both internally and externally

Rate: £20-25p.h PAYE
