Our client is a large government organisation and looking for an experienced Principal Auditor to join their team.
This is initially a 3 month contract which maybe extended for the right applicant. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and assist in the development and implementation/delivery of their annual audit strategy. You will deliver high quality audit outcomes that combine independent objective and accurate assurance statements with value added recommendations.
The successful applicant will undertake risk based audit reviews and ad hoc audit projects the business and assist in the development of the audit plan. You will ensure audit reviews are undertaken and completed within time scale and budget and when required supervise and control work of other staff allocated to assist on a project you are responsible. You will also be tasked with assist in the investigations of fraud, irregularity and malpractice throughout all departments and maintain any records required for the monitoring and reporting of the performance function.
To be considered fort this role you will ideally be IIA qualified or equivalent and have experience of internal risk based audits.
