Description

We are looking for an Infrastructure Specialist to join our client in the manufacturing industry (Eindhoven) who will be responsible for the design and implementation of the IT infrastructure.

Duration: 1 year + extensions.

This role involves writing designs, implementing, testing, and delivering high quality infrastructure solutions. This is done in close co-operation with the development team, customers, and project manager. The infrastructure is based on Linux, Windows and Solaris, mainly configured and managed using puppet.

Must:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and higher versions.
  • Experience with developing a complex puppet code base (min. 1 year Puppet experience)
  • Scripting languages: Perl, Ruby and different Shell languages eg ksh, tcsh, sh, bash
  • Strong documenting capabilities (technical designs and runbooks)
  • Well acquainted with software development
  • Experience in large technical complex environments.
  • Good command of English
  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science (or related field)

  • Developing Infrastructure as Code (on prem)
  • Software Configuration Management (based on Git)
  • Management with tools such as Splunk and SCOM
  • Windows server 2008, 2012
  • Knowledge of experience with several Enterprise Directory Services (LDAP, Kerberos, AD)
  • Base knowledge of storage, network and database solutions
