Role Profile
- You will work with the UX team, copywriters, legal and compliance to be the link between the business side, the customer and the technical teams.
- Understand the pain points by using analytics tools and conducting customer research.
- Supports the development of customer experience and help the team with the vision, strategy, design, and execution of their digital product/service. This will encompass delivery and UX design principles as well as providing business cases and the drivers for releasing new features for both mobile and web.
- Accountable for their digital product/service, ensuring the following factors are inherently part of the product roadmap: Market sizing, Value proposition, Strategic differentiation, Acquisition, Monetisation, Competition, Regulatory compliance, Risk and KPIs.
- Strong in stakeholder management, can create clear briefs, has a good technical understanding and is used to working in a regulated environment. Financial services experience is ideal as it will provide some understanding of the products already.
- Must have excellent communication skills in order to be able to contribute to this becoming a primary channel for the business.
Required Skills and Competencies
Essential:
- Digital product management or Digital Product Owner experience for Mobile and/or web applications
- Interest in and understanding of web and mobile technology
- Experience of bringing new products or features to market, innovation preferable
- Previous work with both mobile and web
- Experience with digital products used by millions of customers
- Experience in delivering in a large corporate organisation which is highly regulated
- Examples of agile product ownership - with responsibility for end to end delivery
- Detailed understanding of customer journeys and the pain points that can occurs
- Customer oriented individual
- Previous experience working with UX designers, copywriters, legal and compliance and Web Analytics teams.
- Familiarity with data and data analysis tools, both for commercial and digital product performance
- Engaging multiple stakeholders from different areas of the business
- Good communicator - both technical and non-technical
- Ability to bring in best practices
- Ability to interact effectively with the development teams.
Desirable:
- Financial Services/Banking experience a plus but not a requirement.
- Experience with Adobe
