Test Automation Engineer - Sweden (South)
Languages: ENGLISH only.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Automation testing including planning, assessments, script development & maintenance preferably in cloud environment.
- Strong programming/Scripting experience and passion for testing.
- 1 year demonstrated experience in testing automation tools ie Selenium Grid/WebDriver, Cucumber/Gherkin, jUnit, TestNG, Maven/Gradle.
- Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in one or more tools ie JavaScript
- Experience working in adaptive methodologies eg Agile and Scrum.
- Experience using Jenkins, Maven and GIT is must.
- Ability to thoroughly test, debug and validate code.
- Good understanding of UX/UI principles.
Description of work:
- Design, develop and Implement End-to-End Test Automation and Tools Strategies/Roadmaps, including performance and load testing.
- Support Test Automation Solution Planning and Estimation.
- Analyse current test structure and test platforms to formulate a vision for growth and expansion.
- Perform detailed test designs using software test engineering principals in the context of test automation platforms and integration across distributed systems.
- Collaboratively elaborate requirements to enable Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) with business analysts and developers.
- Perform tasks required for automated test implementation including review acceptance criteria (Gherkin scripts), create integration/regression test scenarios, implement data management strategy, and generate required reports.
- Improve existing test automation frameworks (ie make them faster, more flexible and easier to use). Utilize parallel processing or grid systems to speed up the tests.
