Morson International working with a global consultancy who are looking for a Senior Java Database Developer to join their team in Ispra. This is initially a 1 year contract with the chance of extending for a number of times. Rate depending on experience.
Description:
- Upgrade of the current Back Office solution based on FileMaker.
- Implementation of a publication engine.
- Implementation of a brand new public information portal.
Qualifications:
- Master degree, min 5 years of higher studies after secondary school
- 11-13 years of general working experience in IT
- Database developer with knowledge and experience in the design and development of multitier
- Java-based web applications and an in-depth working knowledge of at least:
- One web Front End framework. Knowledge of the Angular framework will be an asset.
- A Java persistence framework and of the Java Persistence API (JPA)
- Srong knowledge of Spring framework
- Basics of: Application life cycle management & source code management (tagging, branching, merging).
- Experience on Datamodelling and physical database design and knowledge of the SQL language will be an asset.
- Knowledge on the FileMaker software and Embl file format definition
