Vivid Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Project Quality Engineer for an aerospace and defence client based in the West Midlands for a 12 month contract term beginning in the first week of January.
A manufacturer of high precision, key components supplied directly to OEM's within the UK and across Europe now seeks a Project Quality Engineer to join their Quality Team.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will work within a Matrix management environment as the Quality Authority on assigned projects. Products need to be manufactured to a controlled operational process and conform to customer specification and you will be given full responsibility on set projects.
Some of your main responsibilities are listed below:
* Complete all relevant quality documents for internal and external stakeholders
* Support customer and internal team meetings
* Support the design/process FMEA's
* Progress and review the project NCF's, PP's and 8D's
* Review production documents for compliance and feedback to teams when required
* Involvement in the generation of process control, maintaining quality records and databases
* Complete internal, external and Flash audits as required
The ideal candidate will be trained to 6 Sigma Green Belt or similar, with a working knowledge of EN9100 certification business system. It's essential that you have experience working within aerospace or defence environments, dealing directly with customers on a regular basis.
