The Principal Architect will play a key role in the Application Lifecycle Management and Transformation office. This person will be responsible for signing off on all technology decisions being taken by the individual track leads and ensuring that there is minimal disruption to business due to application transformation. They will also be responsible for leveraging industry best practices and building a strategic plan for implementation based on business priorities and technical feasibility.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with client's IT teams and business owners to define a strategic roadmap for application transformation, performing rapid prototyping and implementing technical solutions to accelerate the transformation program
* Understand the broader technology landscape and challenges for transformation and provide recommendations and guide the individual track owners
* Sign off on all recommendations being made to the client after thorough review of feasibility, business impact and architectural integrity of the recommendations being made. Overall technology owner for the transformation initiatives
* Continuously work with individual track leads to identify and drive opportunities to automate, reuse wherever possible
* Act as an escalation point for all technical issues arising from the transformation programs. Work closely with the track leads and client partners to resolve any issues and perform an in-depth RCA and recommend course of action
