Description

Currently Templeton & Partners is looking for an Experienced Engineer Lead to join one of our international clients for a position in Rotterdam, Netherlands of 6 months with option of extension.

The Task

Templeton & Partners is looking for a strong communicative Experienced as an Engineer Lead. The Engineering Lead will work closely with the Business Owner and the Hub Lead to drive success of the GCC Agile Delivery Hub. The Engineering Lead is responsible to drive technical vision for products, leading high performance team to deliver customer centric value adding products. Hiring and nurturing staff to cultivate the right mindset is integral for this role.

Some of your key activities will include:

  • Build, nurture and grow high performance team using Agile Engineering principles
  • Act as a technical leader to share experience, insight and energy
  • Set technical agenda for products closely with business
  • Define technology approach right at the beginning, designing innovative architectures and platforms

Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:

  • Deployed first class products or systems, eg delivered an application used by 1k+ end users
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Java, Python
  • Experience in building cloud platforms, particularly using AWS, Azure, RackSpace IaaS or OpenStack.
  • Extensive system and network administration experience on Windows Server and Linux operating systems
  • Experience in Scripting in either Python, PowerShell or Bourne Shell.
