Reporting Change Accountant - Ledger Change

Based in Bristol a Reporting Change Accountant is required on a contract basis to support work within the Reporting Developments and Change team.

The team provides insurance accounting systems and process change support to those teams responsible for operational accounting and financial reporting.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Candidates must be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a strong Life Insurance & Finance Reporting background
  • You will need to demonstrate experience of financial control, finance progress reporting and financial planning in a project environment.
  • System migration/rationalise change and Insurance Accounting experience.
  • Able to demonstrate strong excel and ledger use/development (ideally Oracle and or SAP).
  • Experience within Financial Services/Banking or a medium to large corporate organisation is a must.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and highlight issues proactively.
  • Excellent work ethic, committed, enthusiastic and driven to succeed.

The role requires a qualified accountant with finance reporting system and process change capabilities.

Insurance or bank accounting experience would be advantageous as the successful candidate is expected to support the implementation of change on Finance Reporting ledger and reporting systems.

Bristol based paying up to £400 per day.
