One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Senior Functional Analyst.
Job description
The project consists of the implementation and roll-out of a new integrated finance solution with multiple interfaces between Mainframe, JAVA and SAP environments (FI, CO, FICA, MM, SD).
As Functional Analyst you will work in a SOA/BPM environment.
Your tasks include
- Business process design
- Creation and definition of data models in co-operation with IT architects
- Responsible for data mapping
- Definition of services and capabilities in co-operation with IT architects
- Integration of the new developed solution within the existing IT landscape in co-operation with IT architects
- Write detailed functional specifications for services and interfaces
- Collaborate with non-technical team members and technical off shore developers
- Creation and execution of test scripts
Your Profile
- You have obtained a Master degree in IT or equivalent by experience
- At least 5 years of experience as functional analyst in SOA environment
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) expertise is mandatory
- Understanding of Java development environments
- Understanding of Mainframe development environments is a plus
- Understanding of SAP is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Communicate effectively with both business people and also off shore developers
