Actuarial Consultant | Edinburgh | 6 months
We are currently looking to recruit an Actuarial Consultant to join one of our Financial Services clients, based in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will join the Actuarial Rectifications Team.
The key purpose of the role is to assist the team with additional actuarial input into a number of important projects including:
- Analysing different remediation approaches and writing options papers
- Writing calculation specs
- Building models in Excel or Access
- Testing IT models
- Handling queries relating to the use of the models
- General spreadsheet development
Skills/Experience:
- Part or Qualified Actuary
- Strong Excel/VBA skills
- Excellent communicator
- Highly analytical
