Description
Our client has a huge Windows 10 upgrade project and will need Desktop technicians on the East side of Cleveland, Ohio. This is an 11 month project that will be starting in a couple of weeks!
Responsible for implementing departmental procedure to upgrade/reimage desktop computers to Win 10 OS. A combination of in-place and rolling reimage/replacements will be utilized. Will interface directly with end users in a variety of business environments. Troubleshoot technical issues related to OS function (login, print, application load). Will report to a team lead who will serve as escalation point and provide direction on where/when to work.
Desktop/Help Desk Support - Responsible for providing customer service and technical expertise for all levels of users. Diagnoses and troubleshoots software, hardware and procedural problems and works to minimize downtime resulting from these issues. Responsible for day to day logging, tracking and resolving of customer reported problems or concerns.
Need to re/image all current Windows 7 based desktop computers to Windows 10 to meet vendor support requirements. Approximately 55,000 devices are in scope for the project.
This is a Monday - Friday work schedule from 8am - 5pm. There may be some evenings/weekends to be scheduled in advance.
