Main Responsibilities
Key Performance Indicators
Project tasks:
? The developer will contribute to diverse internal projects and shall become the reference person for all data formats and associated application interfaces
o Collect and organise samples
o Maintain dictionaries and format libraries
o Produce data transformation implementation designs
o Develop and test
o Source control and versioning
o Comply with the ESB and monitoring framework
o Maintain an issue log and chase resolutions
o Quality assurance of the deliverable
Coordination tasks:
? Person will maintain the data format and data mapping libraries, both for internal and external (standard) formats
? Person will contribute to the evaluation of workloads regarding data transformation needs by every project
? Person will contribute to flow design workshops
? Person will enforce standardised documentation and production practices.
? Person will evaluate mapping performance requirements and recommend appropriate measures.
? Person will aid with the definition of schemas (messages, databases, service interfaces) and message flows
? Person will prepare and contribute to development, integration and acceptance tests.
? Person will coordinate deployments and perform data transformation configuration management
? Person will work together with the project teams for relevant projects.
? Person will provide support in a service management environment ? Organisation of the data and format libraries
? Data mapping flexibility and productivity (new maps, change requests)
? Completeness and robustness of developments
? Accuracy of documentation
? Industrialisation of developments
? Test automation
Build complex data mappings with WebSphere Transformation eXtender (WTX), covering the complete development lifecycle from refining specifications, schema definitions, mapping development inclusive of filtering rules and enrichment queries (DB or web services), through to test preparations, specifications and execution, up to deployment in a ESB infrastructure (build over MQ, WebSphere Message Broker & Data Power appliances)
