Exciting opportunity to work for a prestigious EU Institution in Brussels.
We are on the lookout for an exceptional Web Application Developer with at least 3 recent years of working experience in IT.
This is a long-term contract of work with real possibilities of renewal. You could stay working for years as a contractor/freelancer!
Description
. Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices
. Assistance in the implementation of software engineering projects
. Implementation of business needs and automated tests
. Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis related to the area of expertise
. Elaboration of vision documents focused upon infrastructure components
. Participation in meetings with the project teams and other stakeholders
Qualifications
. Master's degree (Minimum 5 years of relevant studies after the secondary school) Note: 2 years of professional experience can compensate 1 year of study.
. Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Excellent knowledge of:
* In depth knowledge of Web interfaces, design and development
. In depth knowledge of web application development frameworks
. In depth-knowledge of JavaScript (JS)
. Excellent knowledge of the following Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, XML, jQuery, Bootstrap, Struts
. Knowledge of Rich Internet Application technologies
. Good knowledge of the Agile methodology
. Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
. Translating the business requirements related to Human Resources and Pay to technical specifications.
