Supporting a company on Teesside, we are looking to recruit a Contract Structural Engineer to support with an important 8-15 month Structural Validation (working to Eurocode 3) project. Our client are involved in multiple sectors including; manufacturing, production and Oil & Gas. they are already looking very busy for them.
We need candidates to be able to interview on the 17th & 18th of January and start within a two week's notice period.
The Structural Design Engineer shall be responsible for calculation and design of steel structures in accordance with all the legislation and standards associated with steel design (Eurocode 3).
The successful candidate will need to have good communication skills to liaise with the Engineering Director, Lead Engineer, project managers and manufacturing operatives
-Experience sought:
-Structural design and analysis (STAAD)
-Experience in numerous design codes including Eurocodes 3
-Good Structural Validation experience
-Connection Design
-Steel Design
-Surveying
-Steel Structures, Steel Detailing
-Site Inspections
-Overseeing overseas sub-contracts, and mentoring
