Quality Engineer
Quality Engineer urgently required for interesting contract in Poland, krakow
6 month rolling contract based in Poland, Warsaw
The Quality Engineer will be Responsible for the following:
- Creates test plans (functional and regression)
- Creates test cases (functional and regression)
- Automates applicable test cases for regression testing
- Performs testing
- Identifies defects and work with scrum team on resolution
- Accountable for overall test quality (functional & regression)
- Promotes environment of collaboration within the test team
- Provides input release milestones
- Coordinates test planning and execution (FFT, SIT, CVT; performance tests, load tests, etc.)
- Provides reports related to product quality metrics
- Provides quality related inputs on go/no-go for every release (incl. promotion to INT, CVT & prod environments)
- Attends scrum ceremonies
- Updates status in Rally on a daily basis
- Ensures test cases cover 100% of new functionality
- Traceability from story cards to test cases
- Takes part in sizing process
- Engages in solution discussion
The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following skills and expertise:
- Experience as software engineer
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, processes and quality metrics
- Programming skills in Java
- Experience in Selenium, SoapUI or similar tools
