Project Accountant

This role sits within the Finance team and will support a number of work streams as part of a significant transformation programme. This will include review of new and existing business units' reporting processes, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
The objective of this role is to map all processes and produce standard procedure notes to comply with Group policies and standards. Candidate should have a proven track record in defining financial reporting requirements eg Statutory, Requlatory and Group (both qualitative and quantitative). The candidate will be expected to draw on technical knowledge, past experience and industry contacts to determine best practice for technical accounting and reporting processes.
The successful candidate should ideally be a fully qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) with significant post qualified experience in the insurance industry.
