Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Luxembourg

Rate: Negotiable depending on experience

Contract length: 12 months with extensions

Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit a Dev Ops Engineer- Cyber Security to join their client in Luxembourg.

They are looking for a full time DevOps engineer with cybersecurity and coding experience to join the team. The successful candidate will work on a highly technical IT Security team of an EU Institution based in Luxembourg.

The candidate will be responsible for integration, automation and development for the out of the box and custom-built solutions in a heterogeneous technical landscape working mainly with the incident response, security operations and engineering teams.

For this position, they are looking for a mid-experienced tech-savvy professional with a wide understanding of technology who feels comfortable working with a highly technical team.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, and experience in collaborating effectively with various teams, and with different cultural backgrounds.

Skills:

Demonstrated proficiency in Linux environments.

Good knowledge of Windows will be positive.

Demonstrated knowledge on integration and automation on a heterogeneous environment.

Good coding experience, being able to develop small to medium sized solutions, integrations and plugins in the below-mentioned languages.

Proficiency in several programming languages e.g. Python, Go, Java and PHP. JavaScript knowledge for both front and backend will also be valued.

Hands on configuration, customization and development experience on Atlassian product suite (Jira and Confluence) to integrate with other applications, develop small plugins, maintain, and customize existing ones.

Knowledge of SIEM technologies, their architecture, components and integrations with them. ArcSight and/or Splunk knowledge would be valuable.

Knowledge on Elastic products, especially on ElasticSearch. Development knowledge on Elasticsearch products would be a plus.

Knowledge on cloud technologies and service models, preferably on AWS and/or Azure.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, management information systems or equivalent.

Security and/or development certifications are a plus but not required.

Demonstrated capacity to document, maintain and perform comprehensible coding aligned to best practices.

Cybersecurity experience is a plus particularly in security operations and incident response areas.

Ability to handle ambiguity and changes of scope and priority and make decisions and recommendations with limited data.

Solid analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems.

Willing to continually learn new technologies, languages and adapt to business needs.

Able to document clearly and concisely in English.

Good level of English (at least C1) spoken and written;

Good level of French and other EU official language is a plus.
