Description
An RF Systems Engineer is required to design and develop satellite navigation systems for a global aerospace and defence company.
Role: RF Systems Engineer
As RF Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:
+ Elicitation of Subsystems Requirements
+ Preparation of Requirement Specifications, Verification Matrices and other Technical documents for RF Subsystems
+ Preparation of Technical Statements of Work for equipment suppliers and internal development organisations
+ Specifying requirements for the Antenna, RF Front End
+ Designing receivers using the conceptual availability of multi-constellation and multi-frequency GNSS signals
+ Support to Informal/Formal Verification and Validation Test Activities in a System Integration Lab Environment
+ Provide technical response to Requests for Information/Proposal from potential Customers
+ Develop systems in accordance with industry certification standards
Experience:
As RF Systems Engineer you will have experience of:
+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or other relevant discipline
+ Industry experience in digital RF design and development, system integration and test
+ Understanding of RF HW methodology, architectures, development tools, test equipment. Experience between 500MHz and 5GHz
+ Ability to specify the functional and interface requirements for all RF interfaces to the individual building blocks of a GNSS receiver
+ Able to undertake international travel
+ Willing and able to achieve UK Security Clearance
+ Ability to select printed circuit board level hardware components
+ Experience of schematic capture for RF circuitry
