Systems Engineer (VMware/NetApp) - Luxembourg
Languages: ENGLISH and FRENCH.
Skills and Experience:
- Basic knowledge of VMware and standard operator actions
- Basic knowledge of NetApp and standard operator actions
- Knowledge in the following areas would be appreciated:
- Scripting (powershell mainly)
- Cisco UCS (with Fabric InterConnect)
- Using ServiceNow
Description of work:
- Consultant with a Back End operator profile virtualization, storage and backup to perform all the day-to-day tasks related to our Hosting Platform.
- Realisation of operational tasks on VMware.
- Various actions on VM, datastore, VLAN config, etc.
- Realisation of operational tasks on NetApp.
- Various actions on volumes, LUN, etc.
- Performing operational tasks on NetBackup.
- Backup and restore mainly.
- Daily and weekly HealthCheck.
- Various reporting.
- Follow-up/Update of the operating documents and procedures of the HoPla.
- Intervention on tickets involving HoPla actions/aids.
